My pronouns are they/she. I am a fat, white, non-binary and queer therapist that grew up in rural Indiana. I feel strongly about honoring autonomy and approaching therapy as a space to dismantle internalized oppression, trauma, and all the stuff that is no longer working for you. I recognize that I hold privileged and marginalized identities and try to operate from a place of cultural humility. I am a lifelong learner and self-proclaimed nerd. In therapy I am warm, encouraging, calm, and direct. I hope to build relationships with my clients that support vulnerability and diving into the deep waters of the issues coming to the surface. In my free time I like hanging out with my cats and partner, trying to keep my plants alive, bingeing TV shows, swimming laps, cooking, or chatting around a fire.

Professionally speaking, I am an LCSW with 7 years of clinical experience in various settings including outpatient and community mental health, homebased and family therapy, homeless and residential services, and providing gender affirming care in coordination with medical providers. I got my start providing home based and community services for children and families that were under-resourced and/or living in poverty. This gave me opportunities to use play, creativity, and focus on the importance of relationships and connection. I have been fortunate to work with culturally and religiously diverse populations. I welcome folx from all walks of life and seek to serve those impacted by the frequent trauma of being othered. I look forward to meeting you!
